I should have waited until Christmas for this book, but I just couldn't, so we bought it at Sam's Club. I loved King's short stories and these four did not disappoint. I loved them all, but my favorites are "Fair Extension" about the man who extended his life through an evil trade with Elvid and "A Good Marriage" about the woman who discovers a horrible secret about her husband of 27 years. "Dig Driver" is about a female author coping with a heinous crime committed against her. I liked it, but did feel like it dragged a bit toward the end. "1922" is about a man who kills his wife because of a dispute about land that she inherited from her father. Each story contains a powerful secret.
