I picked up this 2010 paperback a couple of weeks ago at Upper Case Books in New Hamburg.
I wasn't particularly impressed. Nyx is a NY private detective by day, and a half-human, half-Drow Night Tracker by night, saving the world from Demons. When several of the New York state's Pack of werewolves go missing, she's a natural choice for the case.
I just didn't click with the character, and the two sex scenes seemed totally out of place. And I'm usually a fan of a good sex scene! I also felt that the mystery and the conclusion had enough holes in it to qualify as a mini-putt course!
