Saw this in a charity shop and it looked good, so it is now on my tbr pile! I've never read any Oscar Wilde, so am looking forward to it.
Listened to this today. Only intended listening to a small amount of it while doing something else, but found this book enthralling, so listened right through to the end. So many twists and turns!
My first Oscar Wilde and definately won't be my last!

On its way to the USA as a RABK, although the recipient is sending some mystery audio tapes in return, which I look forward to receiving, so I suppose this should really now be a swop!
Thank you, jax987654321! This is maybe my all-time favorite play, so I know this will be a great treat.
When it comes to humour, the Brits absolutely own the playing field. It's sparkling, ironic, quick, perpetually surprising, and enduring. Meanwhile, we Yanks make do with "I Love Lucy" reruns. If we're lucky.
This presentation was every bit as funny as I remembered from two film versions and a couple of live performances, and perfectly elegant. During the garden tea scene, you can even hear the *doink,*doink* of Cecily maliciously dropping in the sugar lumps after Gwendolyn has requested no sugar. I only wish that there had been a list of the cast on the wrapper, so we'd know who was reading which part. On the other hand, we do get a lovely cover picture of the flustered-looking Miss Prism, with her black bag in the foreground.

Sent to Moody-Blue as part of Komsomolskij' audio-book relay
Received as part of an audiobook relay. It's always nice to be able to trade with new friends. Thanks!
I'm sad that I haven't read this book before now, but better late than never. I absolutely loved it! So witty and funny... Is Oscar Wilde like this all the time?
I was lucky to get this book on Audio, with a talented ensemble cast playing the roles. I don't think my mind would have read the dialog with such great accents and timing.

Released to LittleWhiteBird in California as one of her selections from my Audiobook VBB. Happy travels, little book!
Arrived today. I'm looking forward to listening.
It came in a cube shaped box, so I was curious what was in that box. The padding kept the cassettes and case very safe!

I found someone who still reads books on tape like I do, I'll send this book to them together with a bunch of others.
