MY FIRST SENTENCE ARRIVED THIS WEEK! (Along with the rest of the book!) Thank you very much, Christina82! I really enjoy Agatha Christie, and haven't read this one yet!
Thank you so very much, too, for all the little presents packed in with the book! It was a lot of fun to receive them & I'll think of you and BookCrossing whenever I see them.
Book Description: ... For an instant the two trains ran together, side by side. In that frozen moment, Elspeth witnessed a murder. Helplessly, she stared out of her carriage window as a man remorselessly tightened his grip around a woman's throat. The body crumpled. Then the other train drew away. But who, apart from Miss Marple, would take her story seriously? After all, there were no suspects, no other witnesses ... and no corpse.
March 22, 2013: It's a MISS MARPLE story!! I ♥ Miss Marple!
March 24, 2013: Thoroughly enjoyed this little book. Miss Lucy is a wonderful partner for Miss Marple. Wish I knew someone as perky and dynamic as Miss Marple.
Now? To find the right home for this little treasure. World-weary, a bit worn, but still fully intact, no loose or missing pages and a cover in good condition (Labelled for BOOKCROSSING, of course) even though the book is 45 years old!
This is a Penguin Pocketbook Paperback Edition, and is actually the book in the photo I've added to this journal entry.
October 17, 2013: Offered as a RABCK to send off as part of Pinkoeria's E-Less Release Challenge in November. See this forum thread: CLICK HERE. Reserved for Iwillrejoice.
