Reconciliation, subtittled Islam, Democracy and the West, is the book Benazir Bhutto was working on on her return to Pakistan when she was killed.

In Reconciliation, Benazir Bhutto using the Koran, shows that Islam is not the religion of intolerance as portrayed in the West. Intolerance comes from extremists and fundamentalists, contrary to the hate the extremists promote, the Holy Book promotes tolerance, grants women equal rights.

The first word of the Koran is read. As a one word sentence it is seen as a command. How does one read without an education? It does not say only men read. It says read.
