Journal Entry 1 by tamugrad02 from Virginia Beach, Virginia USA on Friday, July 25, 2003
Just as good as the first book "Sloppy Firsts." I enjoyed having some closure, as the first book kind of left me hanging.

Journal Entry 5 by debnance from Alvin, Texas USA on Saturday, September 06, 2003
Second Helpings was just as delicious as Sloppy Firsts. Jessica Darling enters her senior year of high school and begins to act in ways that are true to herself, quitting the hated track team and selecting friends that she genuinely respects, though not without taking some occasional slippery slides back down the hill to the moronic high schoolism that pervades her world. I want second helpings of Second Helpings! Recommended.

Journal Entry 9 by Jas330 from Lakewood, Washington USA on Monday, September 29, 2003
I just got this in the mail today -- and have a book and a half ahead of it (the half is one that I'm reading right now) -- I hope to get to it soon, but with just starting college and being busy out of my mind, I don't know how I soon I will get to it. But I'll try to hurry-- hurry, not rush.

Journal Entry 11 by Jas330 from Lakewood, Washington USA on Tuesday, October 07, 2003
Just finished this book, and as I expected I loved it! WARNING: ****Contains stuff about the book you may not want to read if you haven't read the book yet!**** - The Marcus and Jessica relationship was to short lived in my opinion. I mean yes according to the book they plan on still going out, but I dunno, I still don't feel like there was an end to the book. I don't see how McCaffery could do another book, unless Jessica breaks up with Marcus (NOOO!), because a good portion of the book was baised on her guy troubles, and the whole virgin factor. What will happen if she is permantley with Marcus -- I don't there will be much left to write about. Besides her new experiences at Columbia, but really then you can only write about so much. If she does write another book in this series, I will probably end up reading it, but I don't think I will enjoy anywhere near as much as I did Sloppy Firsts and Second Helpings. ***DONE*** Anywho -- I'm going to send this off later this week or at the beginning of next week to MsPooh. Thanks tamugrad02 for the bookray. P.S. (and tottally off the subject) I always wondered what tamugrad02 stands for --- I mean obviously you graduated from somewhere in 2002, but what school, since the day I saw your name, I've been racking my brains trying to figure it out, but to no avail. I think this is the longest journal entry I've ever written, must be in a chatty mood today. Or I just really enjoyed the book! :-)

Received over the weekend. Have a few rays in front of this one, but I'll get to it as soon as I can. I see that I'm last on this ray, so I'll probably release it with Sloppy Firsts, since I still have that book hanging around, unless I hear otherwise. Looking forward to reading this book! Thanks!
