I liked the style and story in this book. It's sad and beautiful at the same time. The characters were well rounded and even though some were unlike-able, I felt a connection. I enjoyed reading the parallel stories between the two families and how the adults individually coped with the decision that was made when the twins were born. The book was true to life for the time period involved and realistic in the emotions experienced by the different characters.

Definitely a book worth reading.

Really lovely and enjoyable story. Well worth a read.

What a lovely book! Once I started reading it I discovered many of my friends were also raving about it, hope whoever finds it enjoys it as much as I did.
