I found this vampire classic in Regent's Park on Sunday the 30th of January 2011 and though I won't read (because I've read it twice before) I'd definitely recommend it to any fans of gothic literature, horror or romance.
It could be seen as a portrait of love & obsession or just the vampire yarn that really started the ball rolling in popular culture - whichever, once you get used to the Victorian use of English it is fast paced and both action packed and intelligent.
