My thoughts...the book was OK. I just didn't really care about the characters. Michael and Quinn's relationship development didn't feel realistic at all to me.

True Blue is a book of relationships. The relationship between sisters Rumor and Elizabeth. The relationship with each of these girls and Zeb, the boy next door. The relationship between Michael (Elizabeth & Zeb's son) and Quinn. The relationship with each of these people and Hubbard's Point, the area in which they all either currently live or grew up in. With all these relationships come emotions... love, jealousy, pain, admiration... In the end, each character has to come to terms with who they were, who they are and who they want to be.

I enjoyed this book. I liked the characters. While I wouldn't search out every book Luanne Rice has written, I would read another one if it happened my way.
