Mail, Volume 2
2 journalers for this copy...
I enjoyed volume 1 of this series, so when I came across volume 2 at the local Comic Store I picked it up.
[The main character makes an appearance in the Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service series, which I'm really enjoying; the author/artist for Mail is the artist for Kurosagi.]
This volume continues the episodic story-telling format, with detective Akiba introducing his tales in a way that reminds me of Rod Serling and "Twilight Zone". The spirits, even the most tragic ones, can be mind-bendingly hideous - some of the turn-the-page shockers here are quite... disturbing! And there are twists as to just who's doing the haunting and why. As always, I love the detailed imagery (even the scary bits) and the eerie mood, not to mention some of the more inventive hauntings; there's a "creepy picture" story here that's got some very unnerving scenes.
[Update: I got the final volume, Volume 3, very recently.]

I'm adding this to the Manga/Manhwa bookbox, which will be on its way shortly. Hope someone enjoys it!
I'll be keeping this one.
