Quite a quick read. I enjoyed the first half of the book more than the second half. But nevertheless an enjoyable read.

Ok, this totally caught me off guard.
I think I forgot that this was a Murakami book until about 2/3 of the way in. Up until that point, it was an excellently written story about love and relationships. Then came the Murakami part -- so weird, so surreal, so good.
