I like cute stories about mice and I like that it's unabridged.

I' started listening to this a few days ago. I'm enjoying it so far.
This book is recommended for listeners age 8 and up, but I enjoyed it a lot as an adult. Abel missed his wife while on the island and I could relate a lot to that. He also tried new things that he wouldn't even have thought of at home. I find I do that, too, when I'm in a different setting. So while it's a children's book, it did delight this old reader as well.

For a children's book, there are an amazing amount of multi-syllabic and foreign words. I wish this style of storytelling was still the trend.
