On the hottest day of the summer of 1934, thirteen-year-old Briony Tallis sees her sister Cecilia strip off her clothes and plunge into the fountain in the garden of their country house. This poor book hasn't been read by me either. I've read some things about the movie, without thinking about that I had the book on my shelf. So I already know too much about the plot for me to want to read the book. Hope it finds another interested reader soon!
