For my money one of the BEST children's books of all times and winner of the Newbery Medal....good for boys and girls alike, and a whodunit puzzle mystery to boot - something for everybody! Everyone should read this book at least once, so please read and release to a child (but great for adults too...it still brings me to tears and makes me laugh). I MUST keep my own copy, so I bought another to release...I really hope this one makes it!

Went back to the same store recently and this book was still there....since I love it so much, and can't stand to see it sit on a shelf, I'm starting a bookray with it!

Hurray! I received The Westing Game today! I will read it tomorrow and write more then!
Wow! Fun, fun, fun! This book, published in 1978, arrived too late for me to read as a child; I'm so happy I didn't miss reading it as an adult. What a delicious treat!
I sent an e-mail to ellymae58; she responded by sending her address. I mailed this off to her today in California. She sounds excited to be receiving this bookray book!
Yay! Received this today from debnance. This is my first bookray, I'm excited about reading the book & moving this little book along....the reviews so far look great, so I'm anticipating that I'll enjoy this one!

Well, I wasn't real impressed with this one. The writing was choppy, the characters had no definition (except maybe for Turtle) and I always felt like there were pieces missing in the writing. I'd read one paragraph, only to read the next one and be utterly confused as to how it got to that point, like a transition in the storytelling was left out.Well, at least I'm done with it. Now it's moving on to the next person in the ray, moogytee. I'll be mailing it out on Tuesday, 5/27.
