I would have really really enjoyed this book if I had read if before seeing the movie. The movie added quite a few things (characters, situations, conclusion), which were good additions. Even so, this was a fun, light-hearted book, and I enjoyed reading it.

How quick it traveled from Europe (Finland) to the US, and back to Europe (Germany). Fortunatly I haven't seen the movie yet :-)

I read it during my vacation in Denmark. It was a nice and funny read. My sister I.R. with whom and her family we had been in Denmark is now reading it.

November 23: My sister had finished it quite some time ago, liked it a lot, and gave it back to me today.

Well, I would have to agree. I would have enjoyed it more before seeing the movie. I did enjoy reading it. The premise in the book for Elle is definitely an intriguing one.
