Arrived in the mail earlier this week. I'm looking forward to reading it.

AceofHearts selected this book from the Everybook VBB in May. I'm delivering it to her daughter HoserLauren when we meet for coffee tonight.

Thanks Elsi for hand delivering this. I'm not sure this book is going to be quite my cup of tea but I'm no where close to getting a handle on my mom's books so I'm going to keep this for now and may release in the future to honour my mom.

This isn't the typical kind of book I read, so that's probably why I didn't enjoy it too much. The mystery wasn't really a mystery as hardly any clues were provided, the police asked a civilian to investigate for the purpose of plot only, and the murderer was happened upon in a way that didn't really make any sense but at the same time wasn't surprising.
There were also other annoying parts of the book, including a drunk driver that the main character let get back in a car and continue driving.
Despite this, I did finish it so it wasn't horrible. It was just too fluffy for me.
