Usually I read a book and then see the movie but it was the reverse with Bridget Jones's Diary. I really like Bridget Jones's character and it was fun reading this book and being able to picture the character and hear Renee Zellweger's voice. I think she makes a perfect Bridget and I'm sure I read somewhere recently that there will be a Bridget Jones part 3, yay.
This book is a little on the well thumbed side but it will survive in the hands of a few more readers.
