Under the Tuscan Sun: At Home in Italy
4 journalers for this copy...
The author tells about restoring her old house in Tuscany. I enjoyed this book more then some some similar books about restoring old house in Europe because she talks more about the people she gets to know and the area she is living in. It is not not just one house disaster after another, although there are a few.
This book came home in my travel narrative bookbox. Since I've already read this one, I'll be moving it along, possibly in my next bookbox.

from the convention. Thanks!
from the convention; not the reread of the book I remembered. A very slow, lazy summer read, as the author describes everything about her renovation of a house in Italy and her summers and holiday break winters there. She's a college professor, so she has the luxury of extended amounts of time off in the states from her job to spend at the renovated villa.
Added to the travel book box.
I do need a vacation. Thanks for including me in this book box. I will be sending this one along again soon.
