Just arrived today! Thanks. My husband, in particular, will enjoy it.
I've enjoyed several of Ngaio Marsh's books and am looking forward to another Inspector Alleyn mystery. Thanks very much, Shroffland, for sending this book so promptly!
This is a very good cozy mystery set in a country village where a small group of people are mounting a theatrical production. This one features an ingenious murder method as well as an appearance by Nigel Bathgate, a character who shows up in some of the earlier Inspector Alleyn books but whom I don’t recall seeing in the Inspector Alleyn TV series. Marsh is definitely fun to read and I’d recommend her books to anyone who likes Agatha Christie’s mysteries.
Thanks to bookstogive for making this book available and to Shroffland for passing it on to me. I will try to find another reader for it.

I love a great English country manor murder. Quite ingenious a plot. And I love Inspector Alleyn.
Back in my hands now. I'll try to find another reader for this book.
