Journal Entry 1 by Lemonitsa from Montréal, Québec Canada on Monday, September 06, 2010
Lost on a world they did not understand... Somehow Clea always knew she was different. The strange star-shaped marking on her palm and her secret ability to communicate simply by thinking, mind-speech, distinguished her from other girls. But the arrival of a boy just like her changed everything for Clea. How special is she, if this runaway from nowhere has the exact same traits. Clea and the boy are more special than she could possibly imagine. Because they aren't even of this world... they are Skyborn. -- RES for a monthly exchange @ BookObsessed. --

A very interesting idea. Well written and engaging. The author portrayed her characters in such a way that it was believable. Though Clea was petulant and sometimes whiny, I feel it fit very well. Good book for the YA set that lets their imagination go with the story and teaches them a little about being different. (finished)
