1990 Berkley paperback of the 1984 #1 NYT Bestseller. This edition is a tie-in to the 1990 Paramount hit film by John McTiernen and starring Sean Connery, Alec Baldwin, Scott Glenn, James Earl Jones and Sam Neill. I bought this copy way back when.
I can let this go after I read:
1993 Without Remorse [read 2018]
1987 Patriot Games [read 2020]
2002 Red Rabbit [read 2021]
Edit August 25, 2021: This was good, but very long, so I just skimmed for time. It is very impressive as a debut novel, even after reading the later prequels. I know the story well enough from the terrific Sean Connery film. I currently have this ranked at #2073 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
