Got this at a library book sale to read as part of the 2011 666 (6 books from 6 different countries on each of 6 continents). Really enjoyed reading this book, which chronicles the varying effects of the Russian sinking of a German refugee boat in WWII on multiple generations of one family of a survivor. Will definitely read more by this author.

I got this book through the Bookmooch.com trade site. I'd been looking for it for a while, and though I don't plan on reading it immediately (school reading takes priority!) I'll be sure to update my review and "release" this book again, perhaps through another book swap site (that's allowed, right?) :) New to Bookcrossing, I'm intrigued and may have to register!
