5th June 2011: Well, the cover might really make you get wrong ideas about the inside. First: there are this vampire fangs and well, there is no vampire at all involved. Second: a red rose and a lot of pink and violet might make you think of a typical romantic fantasy story and that is not right either.
There are a lot of different plots, peoples and substories in this book, so one has to concentrate a little to understand what really is going on. I like subplots because they are giving the story usually more depths. In this case now I am not really sure which one is supposed to be the subplot. Well, of course the story of Annie is important but there are so many other people with backgroundhistories told and other lovestories that I´d say it´s more kind of an episode story which get´s connected at the end.
I liked it nevertheless but I think that someone, who just wants to read a romantic werewolf story with some action and not about media, politics, the so-called high society and some ethic considerations might be disappointed.

Endlich mal ein MeetUp Termin seit langem, den ich nicht verpennt habe.
