I liked this! Writing style is fun and quirky, and more than once I found myself laughing out loud because Maggie has done something that I often do, but never admit to, but Liza Palmer's writing makes it sound oddly charming rather than shameful.

I did find the ending a little lacking, and had a hard time understanding the motivation of several characters' actions, particularly Olivia in a scene towards the end.

So I started and read all but the last 10 pages on my fun getaway! I finished this book as soon as I got home and was a bit disappointed in the ending, but overall I loved it. I can relate to Maggie's life in more ways that I'd care to admit to all of you, and ended up writing down several lines/passages from this book that spoke to me, for, like Maggie, I'm also finding myself at a point in my life when I'm making changes and trying to better embrace who I am and what my life is like.

I haven't done a bookray/ring in a few years. For some reason awhile back I randomly visited the forum on a whim for the first time in a very long time and this one jumped out at me, so I signed up. I'm not a religious girl, but I do believe I was supposed to read this book and am thankful that Bookcrossing randomly led me to it. It seems extra-meaningful that I read it during my first solo vacation. (Woo-hoo being single and finally feeling brave enough to travel alone!)

I will message the next person on the list right now for her address. Hopefully this book will be on its way again in a few days. Thanks for sharing, flewry!

Light, fluffy, quick read. I thought at first it was a YA book. Several good insights, tho. I give it a 7. :-)

I've PM'd carelaisa for her address & will be sending this on as soon as I hear back. Thanks for the ring, flewry!

got it today from iwillrejoice -- thanks for sending it my way :))

as always, once I get a bookring/ray, others arrived. so, this one is next in line, as I'm currently reading a book, then will start another bookray before this one. It shouldn't be too long before I pass it along though!

thanks flewry for sharing this book with us :)

Finally read it!

This story is a huge internal dialogue between the dream life and reality that Maggie doesn’t want to admit but soon will need to face. Her family and work colleagues are doing everything to make Maggie sees what is going on. It’s an okay novel but it seems that it’s a slight twist on the classic style found in the chicklit genre. It reads well and certain moments are funny but it’s not part of my favourite books in this genre. At least, the author’s writing is fluid and some dialogs are witty but overall, it doesn’t outstand itself among the others, at least for me!

I have the address of the next bcer in line to read it, stephanielouise. The book will be mailed monday the 16th, after work.

I'm finished! I read it during my trip over the weekend and it was a nice light read.

I enjoyed all the anecdotes and the dream life the main character created for herself. Quite funny in parts, this book still had a nice story line. Like Carelaisa said, it's a slight twist from the classic ChickLit books.

Since I'm in Canada, and right now we have the national post office labour strike, I will postpone sending this book until the end of the strike, or until I find a better way of sending it. Puralator is always a choice, but more expensive...
