Journal Entry 1 by hyphen8 from Honolulu, Hawaii USA on Sunday, September 05, 2010
Oh boy..really good stuff, but can I pass on the Heartland War and the Bill of Life? It all fits together well..but I wouldn't want to live there/then. Storking makes sense in this context, and I suppose the tithes do too, but..wow. And Humphrey Dunfee? I had my suspicions about the way it would turn out, but the whole thing gives me the shivers. I can't remember which science fiction writer it was who said being frozen just before you die (cryogenics) would put you in limbo - if there's an afterlife, you wouldn't get there - but I think the question the unwinds ask is related - if you have a soul, what *would* happen to it when you were unwound? Will be offered to our TOC group tomorrow.

Journal Entry 3 by ghir at Honolulu, Hawaii USA on Monday, September 06, 2010
Received today at Ryan's. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT RELEASE! Back to hyphen8! Wonderful, creepy story. While premised on a dysfunctional future where pro-life and pro-choice factions have already resorted to war, the story is much more about how easily teens are marginalized and disenfranchised in our society. While arguments can rage whether, and at what point, human beings have a soul, we trample on the spirits of teenagers as less-than-complete people. Back to TOC, 11/13.
