I love travel writing and photography, two art forms that rightfully coexist and are, to an extent, interdependent. Thanks to Lin for her gift of three of the books by Palin and Pao, all large-format hardbacks: which ensures that they will spend a lot more time on coffee tables than in rucksacks and will probably mean that they last a lot longer than the average BookCrossed book.

I am sorry that it took me that long to make an entrance of journaling. I found this remarkable book in the JH Welsh Bicknor near Ross-on-wye in september 2011 and took it along our journey to the lakelands, the dales, the borders, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and then back home to Austria together with lots of other books bought in Hay-on-Wye! I am a bookaholic and visit England and especially Wales nearly every year, never forgetting to make a visit to Hay-on Wye.
I have read a book about the author Michael Palin in which he describes his fitness and health program for his arctic tripes. Very interesting!

So I really am looking forward to reading this one about his travels!! Beeing myself one for traveling!

Thanks again for releasing this wonderful hardcover book! I will look after it and release it here in Austria.
