I don't think I'll get to reading this..it's been just sitting on my shelf. I think I might just make it into a book ray if I get enough people.

From the back of the book:
A child wounded in body and spirit
A horse driven mad by pain
A women fighting to save them both
And the man who knows their hope.

Looks like a good read.

*cries* Not another book ring/ray/box/trade/pass on/do not keep/do not pass go/do not collect $200... oh, wait... that's not book crossing, that's monopoly. This makes #4 that I have in a ray/ring... Not to mention all the books on my shelf people want that I'm trying to get through.... UGH... I'm trying.. I'm trying...

I'm planning on catching up before school starts again, so I'm sure you'll get this before the end of the month, whoever's next.

NOTE: UGH... I keep forgetting this is a ray book, not that it matters, because I am still trying to catch up on the other ones I got before this... The good news is that I finished PIF and it's probably at the next person's house already, so this one is next as soon as I finish Do Not Pass Go.

13 May, 2004.
I am not going to sit here and explain myself.
Just know that this book was stalled with me for a number of reasons. Many were beyond my control. Some were not.
Whether or not I have read this book - and regardless of how badly I wanted to read it - it's going.
A period of my life is changing, and with it, out must go quite a bit.
I am moving to Nashville in a few weeks, save an apocalypse. Also sans apocalyps, I am thus doing a mass exodus of books.
Regardless of any feelings or ill will towards me, I assure you that I have kept this book safely in my care. It was in the company of other books that have kept it from being lonely. It was probably even read by my mother who, sans an act of God, will not come and journal the books no matter how many times I try to convince her to.
I still don't have any money, but I have just enough to put this in a box and ship it off to nyisutter, who has graciously offered to send these to whoever their next intended participant is.

Goodbye little book. Be well loved and have a good life.

7 out of 10

Wow, this book was not what I expected! I had not seen the movie and it has been a long time since I have seen the trailers to it. It is really hard to comment on this book without giving the story away. The action begins almost immediately! I was not entirely happy with the love story in this book. Whatever happened to fidelity and being true to a person you love? Then, the ending was really unexpected. Interesting.

This book will soon be on its way to England!! (lucky book:+)

The book arrived safely in a rather sunny Kent this morning, in a very well-decorated envelope. I am inspired! I might try something like that next time I send an envelope out.
I keep hearing about this book, and as a child I was into horses (what girl wasn't?) so I'm really looking forward to this book. Thanks!

9 out of 10

Apologies for not journalling this book before. I thoroughly enjoyed it - although the scenes at the beginning were hard to read. There was a sense of inevitability from all the events and small details that built up towards a climax. After that it was a really good read. I felt the ending was a bit odd though. Like Mysteryfan03, I found the love element of the story a bit awkward and uncomfortable, but the rest of the book was great. Thanks for sharing!

Summerbreeze didn't want this book, so it's been sitting in my book box. I'll be taking it to the London meetup this afternoon to find a new reader.

This poor little book was left at the Stamford Arms at the end of the meet today, and I felt sorry for it so I've brought it for a trip to the seaside - going into the Brighton OBCZ at the Pumphouse.
