4 journalers for this copy...
I think this was my first Rumpole novel and I quite enjoyed it and the droll humor. Mystery wasn't bad either.
Journal Entry 2 by drpimento at Bodega Brew Pub in La Crosse, Wisconsin USA on Saturday, August 21, 2010
Released 13 yrs ago (8/21/2010 UTC) at Bodega Brew Pub in La Crosse, Wisconsin USA
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
left it on the end table with the other books in the SW corner of the bar by the Book Crossing Zone sign
This one looked interesting too, so picked as a second book to take with me to Texas (and either release it there once read or while traveling...). Bodega looks awesome.
I liked the humor too. A nice little mystery (or a few) between some heavier books.
And interesting that the book was released with a different title in UK, "The Anti-Social Behaviour of Horace Rumpole".
In the story some garages and other buildings around the harbor were discovered to be owned by a company called Helsing... that gave me some good release ideas for this book. :)

"Don't ever apologize to an author for buying something in paperback, or taking it out from a library (that's what they're there for. Use your library). Don't apologize to this author for buying books second hand, or getting them from bookcrossing or borrowing a friend's copy. What's important to me is that people read the books and enjoy them, and that, at some point in there, the book was bought by someone. And that people who like things, tell other people. The most important thing is that people read... "

This was also in the bag with the books for the courier - that's me - but with no name for the recipient. I think I am going to read this book first.
Thank you, Aetm!
Thank you, Aetm!
This was an extraordinary story. All the important things were hidden among a lot of less important words and the story developed like "behind the curtains". Very nice!
