somehow I ended up with 2 copies of this book so I'm sending this one on. My dad was a huge fan of Sinatra and I still enjoy his music.
"In his moving farewell, Tony Bennett remembers being in the studio when his friend recorded "Sumer Wind". he did it in one take. One take, and Sinatra gets into this gorgeous Italian sports car rolls down his window and says to me, 'was that all right, kid?' and -zing-he drives away. Perfect Sinatra!"

This book came home in the Biography/Auto-Biography/Humor Bookbox.

I love Frank Sinatra's music and I know next to nothing about the man, so I will read this and get it moving again. Thanks for sharing!

My Review: I really enjoyed this peek into Frank Sinatra's life. The pictures are incredible. There isn't a huge amount of information about his life, but it gave me an idea of what his life was like. I thought it was interesting his favorite color was orange! Seriously, I have never met anyone before who said "My favorite color is orange!" I get the feeling maybe he just liked being different.

The pictures of him with his friends in the rat pack were the most interesting. I had heard of the rat pack, but didn't really understand what it meant before. These are people HE chose to be in the group. I always thought it was people who were thought were his peers and they were named the Rat Pack by journalists.

I am saving this book for my Biography/Humor Virtual Bookbox.
