I actually finished this book in November, not long after I received it. It was really interesting, I found it quite compulsive and very easy to read, even though I didn't know where it was going -- perhaps because I didn't know where it was going. The ending surprised me, a bit, though. But I loved the use of a real place and era of history in the book, and I thought it was a really original premise for a story. Thank you again for sending this to me, Ghanescha, I'm really glad I got to read it!
And I wish I could read all the comments in German from other BCers. I've actually been learning German with Duolingo, but I'm not anywhere near good enough to read this yet!

Some village dog fell asleep over it.
I like it though. Half-way through now.

I agree with lils, easy to read, interesting background of the place, couldn't put it down. I finished it some days ago, without consulting any other dog. (I fell out with the one on the picture anyway, he almost started a wild fight with my favourite village dog, had to pour a jug of water over him.)
(Most of the German comments don't really concern the contents of the book...)
