CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
I purchased a duplicate of this book to send to JennyC1230 because it WAS on her wishlist. Now it is no longer there. It appears that the wishlist was corrected and she wanted a book by the same title, but a different author. Oh well.... I tried. I am going to include this book with her ABC bookbox and she can choose to read it or do whatever she wishes with it. Sorry for the mix-up!
This book came home in JennyC1230's ABC (Already Been Crossed) Bookbox.
This book is supposed to be on my wishlist, because I want to read it and don't have a copy. Thanks so much ladybug74!

Book Description: Steve Nye's quiet life takes an unexpected turn when he receives a call from his mother. His father attacked her and has been committed to an asylum. The doctor says he's suffering from dementia. But Steve's father seems so calm, clear-eyed, and lucid when he whispers, 'I killed her' . Is it simply a symptom of his father's delusion and madness?
If only Steve were so lucky.
My Review: I really enjoyed this creepy story! It was subtle and drew you in to Steve's life and the other people in his life. The ending was a bit predictable, but it worked for the story.
Saving this for a bookbox.
