The Bookray has begun. I found Bel Canto waiting in my mailbox today. Right now I am struggling with a book that I am not enjoying that much so I may set it aside for awhile and begin this one.

This is not really a book that one enjoys. A group of terrorists takes a houseful of people hostage. The plan was to abduct the president. However he was not there so the terrorists didn't really know what to do. The hostage taking dragged on for months, with both sides becoming more friendly with the other.
I did not like the ending but felt that it couldn't have ended much differently. I will get the book in the mail in a few days.

Just went to my mailbox today and found the bookring book. Hooray! Thanks kiyoteefox, for sending the book along, and I will read it next to keep the ring going.

Finished the book and liked it. It is a serious read, but enjoyable. Will pm the next person in line for the bookring. Hope to have it sent out soon!

I received this book two days ago. Somehow, November has been the month in which I have been flooded by books for which I had been waiting some time. But I am almost finished with one of them, will then quickly read another one and start this one. My aim is to send it out before my vacation in early December. Thanks for sending the book my way.

I truly enjoyed reading this book. It was a very good social study and you wonder whether this is realistic under the circumstances given. 20 pages before the end I worried how the whole situation would be dissolved and I was not disappointed. The book is off to the next reader as soon as I can access my e-mail account.

I really enjoyed the book. I loved how the relationships between the different characters developed. The ending was a little predictable in parts.
