I finished this last night. Some very funny moments here along the way, but otherwise, a repeat of First Wives Club gone south. Three women in Ithaca, GA (an earthy artist, a mousy good girl, and a northern transplant) discover that their hubbies have been cheating for years, hiring hookers on their annual hunting trips among other liaisons. So the three plot revenge and a way to better their lives, whether it was getting revenge or getting back together. The book was a quick read, and funny, which I needed this week. But nothing new and I doubt I'll look for others by this author.

I am so sorry that I had this book so long.

I power read through the book this weekend while I was out of town.

It is an interesting story of how three woman who husbands are partners in a law firm decide to handle their husbands behavior.

The story made me laugh.

Like ladilee24 said, this was a Southern rehash of The First Wives Club. That being said, however, I did enjoy reading it. The characters were likable and the story was fun.

I enjoyed this book - like the other journallers have said, it was a quick, easy, enjoyable read. Nothing too taxing - although the behaviour of the husbands was quite depressing. I'm the last in the ring so am PMing bookstogive for instructions.
