The definition of 'slammerkin' is 1. a loose dress and 2. a loose woman.

This is the story, set in the 18th century, of Mary who falls into prostitution, manages to get out but eventually returns and her life goes from bad to worse, while the reader can only stand by and shout, "Don't do it, Mary!"

I found this story really gripping and I'd like to share it with anyone who would like it. I'm making it available for now and I'll probably release it at some point if nobody asks me for it.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I released this book at about 1.00.pm, British Summer Time on 8th August 2010. (There is no option for BST on the drop-down menu).

There was a music festival that day and Pocklington Arts Centre was very busy. I left the book on a shelf in front of the mirror in the ladies' loo and when I went in a few hours later it had gone. Result!

I hope the person who found it will make an entry here.
