1984 Del Rey trade paperback of the 1982 NYT Bestseller reimagining of the Arthurian legends. This was on my list of best past fantasy to read, when I found this copy last year in the free books pile on the porch of Dimond Library.
I can let this go after I read:
1954 Year of the Big Thaw [read 2013]
1958 The Planet Savers [read 2014]
1961 The Door Through Space [read 2014]
1963 The Colors of Space [read 2014]
1980 Elbow Room (short story) [not yet read]
Edit November 18, 2014: This was a remarkable saga, though a bit lengthy. It felt like real history, and the ending was very sad, yet with closure. I currently have the highest of these four books that make up this collection ranked at #201 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
