It describes the daily life of an old fashioned vet who works in the beautiful countryside of Yorkshire. He bears an exceptional love for his animal patients and the landscape, as well as for (most of) the people who call him for treatment. A charming book which makes you smile and feel good - a must read for animal lovers I guess.
