Journal Entry 1 by markmcg from Sydney, New South Wales Australia on Wednesday, July 14, 2010
The book wasn't really my thing but I'm sure that I will remember it. Set on the very dark side of Thai life it follows the story of Detective Sonchai Jitpleecheep's investigation of a particularly ugly murder. The confessed killer is the most successfull 'working girl' at 'The Old Man's Club'.

I wouldn't have really called this my cup of tea either, but it was still a fascinating 'detective' story, and set in an unusual location. Pretty good writing.
