Journal Entry 1 by awaywithfairies from Sydney, New South Wales Australia on Tuesday, July 13, 2010

From the back of the book: The Dag's Dictionary is a book about words that should exist - but don't. With over 300 freshly minted words, The Dag's Dictionary is a hilarious trip into the delicious oddities of human behaviour.

Journal Entry 3 by tqd at Sydney, New South Wales Australia on Wednesday, July 14, 2010
Picked this up as an orphan after bookdrinks last night, and it's being roundly admired at work today. (Busy day, need a laugh sometimes...) Can't choose a favourite word (not just because another workmate is reading it at the moment) but because they're all brilliant. Thanks awaywithfairies!

Can't pick just one definition, they're all too much fun! So, at random, one of my favourites: Falsifatify (fal see' fat ee' fy) v. To place a fat-free label on a product that never contained fat anyway, such as a packet of salt or a bottle of cordial, in order to fool the overly optimistic. We've had fun with this during a particularly stressful time at work. I'll be re-releasing this tonight at BookDrinks! Thanks, awaywithfairies for all the giggles!

Found at the Crown Hotel. There was enough funny stuff on a flip-through that I decided to take it home to read properly. Thanks!

Picked up as an orphan at last night's bookcrossing meetup. Richard Glover can be quite funny but I have too little time. I'll re-release it somewhere.
