The postcards arrived while I was on vacation. So, now I have them and can make my selection. I'm enjoying looking at all the different castles and reminiscing about some of the ones I visited back in 1985.

I made my choice... Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland. I love the scene of the castle up on a hill looking down on a beach and water. Very cool!

I am sending this pack of postcards off to the next participant. Happy travels!

8 out of 10

This was a fun way to get a postcard from some place I haven't been.

I included an extra postcard from my vacation with nieces and Gingy. There is enough for everyone to take an extra one.

Enjoy

Arrived today. I just returned to Kansas from Colorado. I chose Peveril Castle in Derbyshire. I just finished a historic romance novel and part of it was set in this castle and the surrounding area. Loved reading the cards that NMReader included. Thanks for sharing! Will send on to next person as son as I get an address.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

What a beautiful book of postcards! It was a difficult choice for me to choose but I finally decided on Warwick Castle, Warwickshire as not only the picture was wonderful but the rich history associated with this castle is just amazing! In 2001 Warwick Castle was named one of Britain's Top 10 historic houses and monuments. And best of all it is considered haunted and the subject of many ghost stories! For me it couldn't get any better than this. I am saving every penny I have as I must visit here in the near future! Also the postcards from the other BCers are really great and it is fun to see other parts of the world. Thank-you ReetPetite for including me. Now off to Maranlin in Canada.

Arrived safely today. I will choose a card and send this on it's way shortly. It's also very interesting to read the postcards already added by the previous BookCrossers. Thanks for sending this to me, ravencat, and thanks to ReetPetite for including me in this ring!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

I really enjoyed reading all the postcards left by the previous BookCrossers in this ring. Very interesting to read about different parts of the world. The English castle postcards are beautiful, and it was tough to make a choice. In the end I chose Leeds Castle which is surrounded by water and lots of green grass and trees. A beautiful photo.

Mailed this off to herchelle today. Enjoy!

Wow...this is SO COOL!! Being Canadian, our history and our idea of historical buildings is limited. I think the oldest city in Canada Quebec City is only 4oo years old. These castles are amazing!!!!

I love reading everyone's postcards. What a fabulous idea! Going to go postcard shopping LOLOL

This was an amazing adventure! I loved the postcard of the castles, I had never seen anything like them before, so I think I need to put castle touring on my bucket list. The postcard that I chose was Dunstanburgh Castle because I liked the timelessness of the castle ruins against the ocean waves. Very Beautiful. I also chose a postcard from Kansas - thank you heartthumper, and the postcard of F.D.R. because I loved the plaque behind the monument "They (who) seek to establish systems of government based on the regimentation of all human beings by a handful of individual rulers...call this a new order. It is not new and it is not order." Beautiful, thank you NMReader. lils74 has asked to be skipped so I will be posting this wonderful collection to Australia next with 4 postcards from me. Thank you again everyone.

I was thrilled to get this back. There are so many postcards from all round the world: modern buildings, historic buildings, caves, scenic views, the Colorado Cherry Company (looks a great place to visit) and loads more. A big big thank you to everyone who kept it going and I hope you enjoyed taking part. There are 7 postcards of castles in my book which will go out with books I send.
Thanks again, I'm really going to enjoy reading these lovely postcards.
