don't know how I received this book from the publisher but I am glad I did as I was going to buy it anyway.
This is the second book in this series and I don't know how she is going to top this one. I figured out some of the mystery but not all of it.

Never heard of this one but since you recommend it I'll be happy to give it a try. Thanks again for all the goodies. I put a towel on the table and started spreading things out..and then had to stand on a chair to take a photo..and then had to cut it in half in order to show the detail. Amazing. The RABCK fairy lives, and her name is shemchin! ;)(The other half of the photo can be seen here..or see a larger version of the whole thing here.)

Kate Burkholder is Chief of Police in Painter's Mill, Ohio. About one-third of the town's population is Amish, and Kate was born Amish herself. Sometimes this helps her - for instance, her ability to speak Pennysylvania Dutch often comes in handy. This time, a crime takes place that stirs up memories of Kate's troubled past.
