A Phoenix 60p paperback.

Contains 20 poems.

Must have been picked up at a flea market or thrift store somewhere, I think.

Poetry isn't really my thing, but I read this little book anyway. Keats is a classic so it's probably good to have read something by him.

I always feel that you need to get into the right mood to enjoy reading a poem, but that mood is always elusive to me. Maybe I am too right-brained.

Anyway, I do love some of the lines in the poems, they are breath-takingly beautiful. The backcover says that he wrote poems that were political in meaning and purpose. Guess I miss that, although when I studied Chinese poetry in school, I remember some poems that appear to be love poems are actually political with hidden meaning.

Released 5 yrs ago (4/30/2018 UTC) at Hotel Ibis Lisboa Jose Malhoa in Lisboa - Campolide , Lisboa (cidade) Portugal
