How the book spiral works:

* Someone will PM you for your address, PM them back and provide your address

* When you receive the book, please make a journal entry letting everyone know that you received it

* Put the book at the top of your TBR pile (under other rings/rays that arrived first)

* Read the book (take your time and enjoy the book, don't feel rushed to finish it)

* If it looks like it will take you longer than a month to read, please post an updated journal entry so that all concerned know that the book is not stalled. Again, please don't feel rushed to move it on but do keep us informed!

* When the end is in sight, check the book's journal and PM the next person to get their address

* Finish the book, make another journal entry and let everyone know what you thought of the book

* Send the book to the next person on the list (please use the cheapest shipping method available), make release notes (Controlled Release) or journal entry to let everyone know that it's in the mail

* At the end of the spiral, last person please pm Liz-z for address and mail back.

* Each book in the spiral will be sent on it's journey when the previous one returns back home. This avoids a book spiral black hole where all the books end up stuck with one person and allows you to read other books in between books in the series.

I'm so excited to start this! I'm right in the middle of The Story of Edgar Sawtelle, which is a huge book, but I don't think I'll be able to wait until I finish that to start this!

While I don't think I loved this one quite as much as the first one, I did still enjoy it very much, and once I started it I finished it quickly. I really like the scenes between Sookie and Eric and his persistent flirtatious...banter, for lack of a better word. I look forward to continuing the series.

I PMd the next person yesterday as I did not save the address from the first book (and wouldn't send without confirming they still want to read this one anyway), so as soon as I have a response this will be in the mail.

Book arrived in today's mail -- yay!! I read the 1st book in the Sookie Stackhouse series last year, and really enjoyed it. I've since watched the first 2 seasons of True Blood on DVD, and am definitely hooked. Looking forward to seeing what this second book has in store! Just finishing up my current read, so should start this one tomorrow. Thanks!

Awesome -- loved it! Read this book in one day :) The story was fast paced and included a couple different storylines to keep it interesting. I appreciate Sookie's allegiance to Bill, but he bores me -- I'm definitely "Team Eric", and really loved the sexual innuendos that continue to pass between Sookie and Eric (I hope, I hope, I hope that they hook up at some point in this series! ;) I enjoy the way Harris writes in the different voices of her characters, with Bill and Eric 'speaking' with their old world charm, and Sookie peppering her speech with silly slang and her Louisiana accent. Overall, a good read--- looking forward to the next book!

I've already got the addy for the next reader, so will pop this in the mail in the next day or two. Thanks for including me in this spiral! :)

I'm sorry this took me so long! With my class starting and 29 STUDENTS, it was hard to read. But, I finally got through it! I did like it, but not as much as the first one! I felt like I was picking it up and putting it down a lot, which makes me not want to read...but maybe it was because I was too busy and felt too lazy too. So, hopefully, I'll like the next one better!
I already have the next persons address, and I will be sending it off shortly. Thank you so much!

I really like this book series - even though I'm only 2 books into it so far. I'm quite taken with Sookie...even if I'm not so impressed with Bill. I too find myself in the Team Eric camp. LOL
