I enjoyed this book. It was a fast, easy read with likable characters and a decent plot. Jack and Peter Mullen are brothers. One is a law student and the other parks cars for the rich and famous in the Hampton's, among other things. Peter's body is found on the beach and Jack doesn't believe that he drowned himself. No does he believe Peter's erstwhile friends and girlfriend. It appears that money can buy anything, including the cops, the judge and everyone else involved in the murder investigation. But he comes with a plan to beat them all.

This book was different from the previous Patterson books that I have encountered. It didn't contain as much detective work and I didn't enjoy it as much. The story didn't seem very realistic as the events started to unfold. It was a fun read though and I look forward to more of Patterson's novels.
