I was handed this book by the fabulous bjarstkular while I was on a weekend break to Madrid. On Saturday afternoon we toured Madrid. We saw the Parque del Retiro (the boats on the lake look such fun) and took in a rooftop view of Madrid. Visited a market in a metal building and looked at two of the main squares. And we tasted tapas and drinks during the local festival. It was an amazing time, thank you so much bjarstkular.
I look forward to reading this book as my friend says it is a great thriller.

This was an interestingly written book, with realistic characters. However, perhaps like a real life investigation into murder, there were times when it dragged and very little happened.
I think about 100 pages should have been editted out, especially the bits with the main character stating for pages on end the idea that - you must remember I wasn't in a good place in my mind and looking back with hindsight I would have done things differently. This was very frustrating to read when NOTHING had happened in the book for a number of chapters.
A great plot for a book, great writing, and realistic characters. But I nearly gave up 3/4 of the way through because I just didn't care who did it. In the end I felt disappointed that the author hadn't created a better story.

If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it.
Dropped in to the Long Stone to see what was there. I'm very impressed with the label on the front of this book and may have to use it for my own book releases. I will read but have 2 or 3 others first. I'll try not take to long before releasing it wild again.
