7 out of 10

Lisa Scottoline is a prolific author, she bases most of her stories around her background of law & in the area of Philadelphia where she lives.
Her stories are easy to read mysteries with a touch of the thriller to them, this one is no exception and her main characters are usually women, there is often a romantic element to the tale as well.
Her work is well worth a read if you are a crime writing lover.
