Yup, my very very very long wishlist is now looking just very very (twotimes :)) long.
Thanks to you. Much appreciated.

I tried to get into this book, but it's more for slower readers / savourers. I got a bit nervous over the lack of action. Will soon have it continue it's journey :)

Thank you for the tag :-)
22 Jan 18 - This book gets a lot of good reviews and here I am giving it a very average star rating. It's quite a rambling book, with lots of going over thoughts a feelings, and although I appreciated some of the themes this book covers, I always get lost when religion gets mentioned. I'm no church goer so references to passages and story's from the bible just go straight over my head and always put me off a story a bit.

On its travels to Sweden as a RABCK
Thank you so much for sending me this novel. I loved Lila and Gilead and look forward to Reading this too.

I enjoyed going into the world of Gilead again although this novel was a lot painful to read too. The characters are so real to me and they live their lives as true to themselves they can and love isn´t always enough to make people feel less alone.
Than you for sharing, sorry it took me so long to read the book.

Mjau!
Thank you so much.
This was my first Marilynne Robinson and now I’m curious about her earlier books. I think I read, search for them in swedish language because the text is very complicated. I need to read this in swedish too for better understanding. I do.

Found at Espresso house a couple of months ago, but forgot to journal.
Hmm no, sorry, I really wasn't in the mood for the "complicated/dysfunctional family", I'm rather clueless about Gilead and I'm sharing kingfan30:s thoughts on religiosity. I didn't finish it. But it seems to be very popular, so when I set it out on its continuous journey I certainly hope it'll be found by someone who enjoys it!
