Really good. Probably more of an 8.5 if I'm honest. Not just a series of anecdotes about meeting pop stars, although there are plenty of those, but a treatise on why music matters to some people. There are descriptions in here, of bands I've never had much time for, which make me want to listen to their albums. It's written with such passion and enthusiasm that you can't help but be swept along. Made me wish I was just discovering music all over again.
