Journal Entry 2 by rapturina at Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland Netherlands on Friday, June 18, 2010
The problem with this book was that I really loved "The Time Traveller's Wife" and that it was going to be really difficult to like a new book as much. So, I didn't like "Her Fearful Symmetry" as much. I didn't really care all that much what was happening to any of the characters, which for me personally is a major issue with any book. The only character I cared about was Martin. I could follow along with the story for a long time, but about two thirds into the book it just got too weird and Audrey Niffenegger simply lost me. It was a quick read though, and I did get hooked for the biggest part, but it didn't move me as much as "The Time Traveller's Wife" did.
