I absolutely adored this book! I've had it for a long time and can't believe it's taken me so long to get around to reading it! I enjoyed the two very different stories with only the geography to connect them. The ending was powerful and left me mourning the book was over as well as all that happened. I really recommend it to others. One of my favorite Anita Shreve books ever!

Since the setting of the book is New England and Anita Shreve resides in New Hampshire, this book will be released at the 2010 Boston UnConvention later this summer.
