1 journaler for this copy...
1994 Ballantine paperback of the 1973 third humorous novel by the popular author. I probably bought this copy 16 years ago at a bookstore across from Market Hall in Oakland's Rockridge District.
I can let this go after I read:
1968 Setting Free the Bears [read 2009]
1972 The Water-Method Man [read 2010]
Reserved for linguistkris who will be in need of commute reading material after arriving in San Francisco from Austria come September.
Edit September 22, 2010: This tale of a complexly mixed pair of international marriages and sexual liasons was a bit odd to slog through at first, but the back half ended very strongly and tied it all together.

Edit October 19, 2010: This book made it to the table at the Hotel Rex meetup on Sutter St. in San Francisco and was selected and taken home by a new attendee of the book discussion group, who is not (yet) a BookCrossing member. Happy travels!
Aside from loving shared books, my main passion in life is supporting the human rights work of my good friend, Anni Cyrus. 💖 💖 Her life story of survival as a childhood refugee is astounding, and quite moving!
Please look her up on Google and YouTube. You can also follow her on Facebook and Instagram, among other platforms.
